The Brevard County Office of Emergency Management is hosting the Florida SARC Awareness Level Small Animal Emergency Sheltering Class on Saturday, October 6, 2012!

Due to a generous grant from Florida Emergency Management and Homeland Security, there is NO fee to attend. 

If you register, please honor your committment to attend.

Breakfast, snacks and lunch will be provided through a sponsorship by IAMs Pet Foods.



Course Topics include: Personal Preparedness, Overview of the Incident Command System, Deployment Preparedness, Assisting in Shelter Set Up, Daily Care and Feeding, Proper Cage Cleaning and Disinfection, Animal Behavior, Stress Management, Zoonotic Disease, Personal Safety, and more.........
