| 8:00AM - 5:00PM | A two-day class, September 22-23, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Taught by 17-year veteran animal control officer Dennis Underwood who is currently Marion County Animal Control Supervisor in the Marion County Codes Enforcement office. Successful completion offers certification in using chemicals to control animals, from monkeys to horses, in emergency situations. Course is open to anyone involved in animal rescue. Animal control officers should bring with them the type of equipment they will be using in the field. Cost is $90. Register by Sept. 7. After that date a $10 late fee applies. |
