This FREE training is open to Law Enforcement, Animal Control, Humane Investigators, Code Enforcement Officers and Veterinarians.
 

Topics to be covered:

• Standards of equine care and how to assess physical and living conditions
• Common conditions and potential causes
• Preparing for and executing an equine seizure
• Investigating complaints from beginning to end
• Interviews, warrants, and evidence collection as related to equine crimes  

Hands on portion to include:

• Equine identification
• Basic horsemanship and approach
• Assessment of care and condition
