PREREQUISITES ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS CLASS!!
To be eligible to take this course, you must be at least 18 years old, have a up-to-date FLSARC volunteer profile, AND provide proof of completing the following courses:

-- FLSARC Awareness Level (Level 1) Small Animal Emergency Sheltering class.
-- FEMA IS-100.c (online and no charge)
IMPORTANT: This class is held over 4 days (11/14-15 and 11/21-22/2020) and you must be present all 4 days. The dates on the calendar only list the first 2 days.
 
Join Florida State Animal Response Coalition for the Operations Level Class online. The class is four half days of intense and fun workshops where you and a team of colleagues will work on various projects related to the operations of emergency and pet friendly shelters.

Operations level will help qualify you for new roles during a disaster involving animals including possible Team Lead roles. This class expands on the learnings of the Level 1 course and challenges experienced shelter staff with interesting scenarios of emergency sheltering during a disaster.
