THIS IS A TWO DAY CLASS!PREREQUISITES REQUIRED!After completing the Operations Level class, you will be able to:*Understand how the Incident Command System is used in an emergency animal shelter*Reduce the spread of diseases & effectively decontaminate animals*Choose a location and design a shelter*Select proper equipment and supplies*Create an animal intake process & procedure plan*Understand the responsibilities of Lead roles*Successfully and safely transport animalsEven if you have no interest in taking a leadership position at an emergency shelter, the skills and knowledge learned in this course will make you a valuable asset for any emergency shelter deployment. You will work in a team with other companion animal advocates to help enhance what you learn.
